This reminds me that I found a pair of Dee Cee overalls from the 70s (I think) at the thrift last week. They were missing the metal fastener on the straps (replaced with a baby pin). I passed on buying them. However there were a pair of 70s LEE Jelt Denim overalls that I bought, probably from the same guy, have them on eBay now.
Mike my friend i can't believe i won't be able to talk to you anymore .....please make sure lines from above are connected so i'll be able to enjoy my buddy's daily routine for the next 50 years or so...your generosity was a rarity in such a cut throat and paranoid business and i know i'm not the only one to think so .....i miss you Mike
RIP mike - you were the finest resource for vintage workwear on the internet. prayers go out to your family from your fans and friends
You left us too soon, Mike. I'll truly miss our conversations about old work clothes companies and fatherhood. We'll have to pick up where we left off when I crossover...
This makes me so sad, I had just begun to correspond with Mike. I wish to say, thanks so much for welcoming me and being so positive. God speed, see you on the other side I hope.
